Use the Artistic Wire Convex Chasing Hammer to flatten and texture heavy gauge Artistic Wire and Flat Artistic Wire. The larger convex head is designed for true chasing, without the danger of the edge of the hammer causing a curved line. The smaller, round head is for repousse, peining, riveting, and making a smaller indentation. Put the material to be textured directly onto a steel mandrel or anvil, and use short, repetitive strokes until you achieve the desired effect.
