Tub Contains 700g Soda Ash. 

To help ensure the dye stays on and help prevent colour bleeding, you can pre-soak the fabric in a solution of sodium carbonate (Soda Ash) – unless you are using dyes that have the soda ash pre-mixed in.

How to use:

Make up a solution of 1/2 or 1 cup of soda ash per gallon of water (soda ash dissolves best in warm water, 96°F. or 35°C.)

Soak the material from 5 minutes to an hour, depending on your recipe and materials.

Then, wearing gloves, wring out the material, and prepare to apply the dye.

Caution:

Eye contact can cause permanent corneal injury and possible burns.

If you use sodium carbonate or soda ash in the household, take care to avoid ingestion or inhalation of dust.

Due to these potential hazards, sodium carbonate should be handled with care
