The Minc machine is a heated system for foil application.

You can choose from a number of items from Heidi to embellish or create your own design to apply foil to by simply printing from a toner based printer, such as a laser printer.

This package contains one 5-3/4x19-1/2x2-1/2 inch foil applicator, one transfer folder, one gold foil sheet and test projects.

This is not the same as a laminator

use it with sticker paper, copy paper, scrapbook paper and card stock and it works great!The Minc has four pressure rollers that move your project through the machine, which applies even heat across the entire project. The heat causes the foil to react with the toner on your project, permanently transferring the foil onto any area covered by toner. This means you can use the Minc with the preprinted Minc accessories AND with any design you print with black toner from a laser printer. The Minc can accept paper, cardstock, vellum, chipboard, and even thin wood veneer.

The Heidi Swapp Minc applies foil over Laser Ink and Toner ink. NOTE: It does not work with an Inkjet printer. The Minc acts sort of like a laminator, but instead of laminating, it magically adheres foil over top of the black ink.
