This Thermal Transfer foil is designed to work with Thermal Printers by heating the Foil and applying ink to labels or ribbon. As the transfer film ink melts, it adheres to the ribbon. Thermal transfer films, also known as foils, produce the best results when printed on smooth-surfaced ribbons. We highly recommend using polyester satin ribbons for optimal results.
