General Directions

Pre-wash all materials without fabric softeners. Pre-test adhesive on materials before starting project.

1. Preheat iron to medium heat, no steam.
2. Turn item inside-out or turn over.
3. Measure & press new hem into the fabric.
4. Place Tape INSIDE the new folded hem. The hem adhesive should be completely encased between the two layers of fabric before pressing.
   
5. Place the iron on the fabric and hold with firm pressure for 8 seconds on each section, slightly overlapping, until the entire surface is bonded.
6. Turn the item right side out and iron the fabric for an additional 3 seconds on each section, slightly overlapping, until the entire surface is bonded.

Tips

DO NOT apply iron directly to adhesive tape.
DO NOT SEW! Use Super Weight Item #3727 for heavier weight fabrics such as denim and canvas.
