The Thinlits dies in this set are compatible with Sidekick, BIGkick, Big Shot and Vagabond machines.
To cut, the sandwich requires the use of a pair of cutting pads and the machine's included platform; When using the Essentials Platform or Solo Platform & Shim, the Extended Adapter or Solo Adapter is required.
Because of their complexity, Thinlits dies can require up to three passes to cut. If extra ejection is needed to facilitate separation of the cut and design, place wax paper between the Thinlits die and the material and then cut.
These dies can also be embossed when the platform included in the machine is combined with a printing pad and silicone rubber sheet. The drawings on the platform offer easy guidance on how to make the perfect Sizzix sandwich.
*Tips: To stencil, place the die over the desired material and apply paint or chalk to the recesses in the die. This technique can be used alone or to enhance embossed designs.
